Go Media’s Vector Packs in Super Bowl XLII

Feb 08

News

Haha, this is pretty damn awesome. We knew our Vector Packs are popular, but it’s still makes us feel good when we see them on a national scale. I don’t know who animated this (it was NOT us, although I wish it could have been!). But there are a LOT of Go Media Vector Packs being animated. Wings, Grimey Brush Strokes, Splatters, Hooladanders, etc. There are a bunch that aren’t ours either, the animator used lots of different vectors.

Go Media is a creative agency based in Cleveland, Ohio. Besides the GoMediaZine, we also work for clients and sell stock artwork and design files on the Arsenal.

I'd never have noticed if you didn't point it out BUT i think that's awesome!

You guys definitely make some awesome packs. We used your arrows in the branding of one of our newer clients along with some custom splatters I made and a few other gomedia vectors.

    They came in handy!
  • AWESOME!

    Go Media + Travis Barker = AWE-SOME
  • Oh wow, Travis Barker on drums.

This is great stuff. Animator probably used after effects.. But the vectors, wow, he used so many. It wouldn't have been anything without all of those gomedia vectors. And as other people said, The X and the O were the most notorious.
  • Eric
Adobe After Effects is most likely what they used for the animations I would think.
  • Congrats!
  • Kate
    Congratulations!
  • sam
What program would of been used to create this sort of animation?

would i be able to use Motion 3 for something like that?

    Great job though guys!
  • Corey

  • Alex
wow, thats was an AWESOME video, that was very cool and go media made it possible.
  • AH! So THAT'S what you use the Xs and Os for! Haha. Those, in particular really stood out to me. I'm sure when the animator started digging through his vector resources he was like "Football football football...oh wow, this is PERFECT!"

Nice work guys, couldn't happen to a better crew.
  • haha thanks pants!
  • Actually that, and the fact the only thing seen more that that spot was MASH has to mean big things for sure. You guys are up there with Hawkeye & Hot Lips! Amazing!
  • You know you've arrived when osi umenyiora is wearing your wings. High fives!
  • Very fresh. Keep up the good work guys.
  • Gabriel,

Hah thanks I changed it now.
  • Jeff
My friends thought I was crazy when I got excited about seeing that Sunday. I made them rewind and to watch it again, gotta love Tivo.
  • That is freakin' sweet! Someone put some hard work into all that animation...love it! Congrats fellas!
  • Whoa, that's huge! Congratulations.
  • Gabriel
Being the anomaly of an american football fan that doesn't live in the US, I feel the need to point out that your headline says Super Bowl 17, whereas it was Super Bowl 42. "XVII" should be "XLII". ;)

Good job on the vectors, though!
  • Guido
Cool they used your vectors! The vid is awsome btw!!
  • The first two that stood out to me the most were the X and O.

Congrats on having your stuff featured like this. Too bad you couldn't get a little extra kick back from it :) But, none-the-less, good to see your stuff on a big scale like this.
