It was a messy Monday morning at Go Media as this fingerprint freebie was being made. There are eleven vector pieces inside that include finger tips, palm prints and streaks. Experiment using the palm prints to distress some type! As you can see from the image at the top of the post, these fingerprints have all the nitty gritty details needed to work well at large sizes. I was thinking about offering a fingerprint freebie on my website a while back. I was going to buy some ink and use my own fingerprints to create it but then I changed my mind because I was a little concerned about having copies of my fingerprints floating around the Internet.

Glad you like them! For everyone that’s been asking, they’re Jimmy Hoffa’s fingerprints actually, so I wouldn’t get too excited about committing crimes with them.

Fingerprints available for free on the internet…. what a DEFENSE that will make for ANY crime committed!
Lawyer: “How do you explain your fingerprints at the crime scene?!?!”
Defendant: “They’re available FREE on the internet! They’ve been downloaded 123,000 times! Anyone could have planted those finger prints!”
Judge: “Innocent!”

Really nice freebies as usual, but I would find a full hand much more useful! A cool idea I had for the use of a full hand vector or brush was placing a dark red one on a wall-like texture
