the mask on the design layer, you click off the linked chain that is between the thumb of the layer and the thumb of the mask in the layers pallet. Then click on the layer thumb (not the mask thumb) and you can move the layer around within the layer mask.

If you don't need the functionality or layout, it might be better to not use disqus, since if anything should happen to them, you'll lose all your comments + functionality. And if anything happens to you, comments would probably be the least of your concerns :)
