    I see a lot of these and its mostly Serif-based type designs/artworks used as inspirations, rarely see San Serif based works. Did Helvetica kill that motion, so we seeing many Serif based design to go with the ongoing retro trends?

      I think Serif based type lends itself to being a lot more “showy”. Some of the best typographic design I’ve seen with Sans Serif characters has been very very simple. I love all the field notes stuff from Aaron Draplin.
