African Animals ?
June 6th, 2008 at 11:44 am
I really loved the doodles in 11, more!.
80s graffiti type stuff/murals.
June 6th, 2008 at 11:50 am
I think a cool “paper doll” style set would be awesome. With separate eyes/mouths/heads etc… that could be combined by us.
June 6th, 2008 at 12:03 pm
car parts…engines
planets, stars, space
greaser styled vectors- cars, rat fink, girls, hair styles
scribbles, writing with different mediums
Ancient Graffiti
June 6th, 2008 at 12:07 pm
I think you guys are doing awesome… All the vectors are great… Animals, samauri’s, defintely like the hand drawn skulls, would like to see more of those. More letter explosions, those are neat. Zombies would be interesting to see from gomedia!!!
June 6th, 2008 at 12:11 pm
A tech series with hexagons.
June 6th, 2008 at 12:29 pm
First, I have to say that you guys are awesome in your unselfishness to give us (the community) tools to enhance our design.
On the other hand, I was a bit disappointed in the latest vector package release.
It did not stand out from the rest. It blended too much with what you guys have already. The skulls, skyscrapers and so on. Yes, there were variations but in the end, it did not separate itself from the rest.
Please don’t take me wrong. What you guys are doing is truly amazing and so beneficial to us all.
I am just commenting on my personal reaction to your latest release.
Thanks.

Here’s a few that I think would be useful:
- Traditional Tattoo Flash
- WWII Fighter plane graphics (bomber ladies, various markings for U.S. and other planes)
- frames, borders and other woodcut looking artwork
- Pop art/culture shock looking graphics
- Medals, medallions, and emblems
- ironically cute anime looking creatures
- hot rod graphics
- 70’s and 80’s electronics
- random household items
- guitars, basses, drums and other instruments.
- I’d also like to see a set of creatures, heroes and people that are created to interchange their body parts to build new fantastic figures. (heads, arms, legs, torsos, wings, tentacles, etc.)
This might give you an idea of what I’m thinking:
http://yourmagicsucks.blogspot.com/2006/07/mighty-men-and-monster-maker.html
I’ve got lots more ideas that I’d be happy to share if you’re interested.
June 6th, 2008 at 1:02 pm
Great job guys!
Woodcuts from the middle ages, ancient art, more tikis, Precolumbian American Designs, Famous buildings, Icon’s of Roman Emperors, Space ships
A few things that would be cool
June 6th, 2008 at 1:32 pm
Old School Cars
Vintage Cars
Gangster Items

Blasts
Reptiles
Oil rigs
June 6th, 2008 at 1:34 pm

-extreme sports (snowboard, skate, surf, etc.)
-corporate shapes (abstract shapes for corporate marketing materials)
-faces (human mostly)
June 6th, 2008 at 1:44 pm

June 6th, 2008 at 1:49 pm
Thanks for the comments folks, keep them coming!!
June 6th, 2008 at 1:50 pm

June 6th, 2008 at 1:53 pm
some ideas-
sneakers! really, it would be awesome.
postage stamps
pirate vectors
but the others’ ideas are better
June 6th, 2008 at 2:00 pm
Hi Guys:
What do you think about a “Layouts / Grid” pack - basically it would be progressive interpretations of positive / negative space confined to standard print sizes, Poster, Flyer, etc. Bill did a great tutorial that made me think it could be cool: http://www.gomediazine.com/design-tip/rule-four-spacing-is-your-friend/
Does anyone think this would be useful?
June 6th, 2008 at 2:03 pm
Great work guys. Just purchased them yesterday still have not played with them yet. But can’t wait to use the set.
Suggestions on new vector packs.
- Mountains
- Scenery
- Planes
- Mix skulls and the suits pack for evil skull business men
- More creatures
- Urban elements
June 6th, 2008 at 2:05 pm
i’m sure some Ed Hardy/tattoo drawings would sell quick fast.
June 6th, 2008 at 2:16 pm
How about different sports. For example Capoeira, or even various shapes.
June 6th, 2008 at 2:20 pm
All your vector packs are awesome, i have no problem with any of them. But a japanese theme vector pack with cherry blossoms, dragons, koi fish, etc… would be kick ass! And also lowriders, sports cars, trucks, motorcycles.
June 6th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
Would love to see some:
skateboarder’s
snowboarders
breakdancers
graffiti artists hold a spray can?
anything you guys pump out is gnarly.
Can’t wait for pack 12.
June 6th, 2008 at 2:24 pm
Suggestions:
* 60s psychedelic patterns
* Classic American cars and hotrods
* Cows
* Art Deco patterns/murals
* Old/retired sports mascots
* Rockets
* Streamline modern buildings
Looking forward to see it, no matter what ends up in there
June 6th, 2008 at 2:37 pm
yea!! that’s right
Grunge Designs
more tattos
June 6th, 2008 at 3:07 pm
Love the packs. Before list for ideas, any chance you guys will be puttin’ in a pick and mix system for the packs. I bought 1-8 a while back but I wanna get the next few super cheap in a veracious vat of veluptious vector (go alliteration). But make it that you could pick 4 packs or whatever and once you bought stuff in bulk you got it cheaper.
Anywho to the list.
-More buildings rather than skylines, showing windows and doors and that kinda thing
-Reapeatable textures, kinda like halftones, things like flock patterns etc. they would be great
- Real hearts, with veins and arterys and bears oh my!
- you can never have enough grunge, so more brushstrokes spraypaints etc.
-Film Noir characters, guys in trench coats smoking suspiciously, the femme fatale (dunno how you can depict that in one vector but you guys are good, you’ll figure it)
-Lens flares, might be fun
-I’m agreeing with a few of the others there with some extreme sports stuff, including cool silhouettes of people doin tricks aswell as the boards of blades.
-How about a murder themed pack, like gloves, blood splatters guns, just watch CSI.
-More silhouettes of people doing graffiti, mixing records, breakdancing or general urban madness.
-More sexy ladies, doesn’t have to be vector.
Thats all I can think of, might be a little detailed but I like to be thorough.
June 6th, 2008 at 3:09 pm
I recently got this suggestion from a customer - I wish you had a Robot set. Some fun robots would be awesome. Robots in the same sort of fun style as the cute stuff set.
June 6th, 2008 at 3:12 pm
@ChequeredManiac - In Arsenal 2.0 we will have this feature!
June 6th, 2008 at 3:17 pm
suweet, thanks Jeff. Love this site, its helped me so much with is tutorials here and its vector pack there. I’m 17, completely “unqualified” and making money from designing, how crazy is that. Just for exposure check my site in the next few weeks, it will be finished soon but until then my stuff is on deviant art deepdarknoise.deviantart.com .
Is it bad to plug yourself on a comments section
Sorry. Keep up the amazing work guys and gals.
June 6th, 2008 at 3:17 pm
Punk/Metal/Rock-A-Billy-
i.e. Things you could use for flyers. Think hardcore 80’s punk. Maybe a skateboard, some RAWK fists, A large can of Aqua-Net, spiked collars, a booze bottle with the non-descript “XXX” label, a straight razor, brass knuckles…
A Follow Up to Sexy from VP2
Hot Rods
Some chrome wheels, a V8 with a big blower, a stick shift, a detailed Maltese Cross
Pinstriping
You touched on it with the Tattoo vector pack, but you could easily make a full pack of pinstriping flourishes
June 6th, 2008 at 3:39 pm
Set for cooking (?)
it´s almost impossible to find something interesting about cooking…
Flower/power set - yeah, I participate
June 6th, 2008 at 3:50 pm
I second that about a japanese pack.. or any culture themed pack for that matter.
Maybe some sweet abstract shapes or something, I don’t think you’ve done anything quite like that yet. It would be really cool to get some 3D shapes that have some depth to them, those could be really useful
June 6th, 2008 at 3:54 pm
Dore’s style angels and demons. (I believe it’s called “engraving.”)
Mythology characters.
Rims.
Boogey man.
Snakes.
June 6th, 2008 at 4:00 pm
what about more fashion elemnts like this one!
- clothes
- Shoes
- Sound Electronics
June 6th, 2008 at 4:02 pm
Like this one!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/davidcaro/2477029355/
June 6th, 2008 at 4:13 pm
I would like to second some previous suggestions. Hopefully that will help you gague popularity.
-Japanese art elements
-Faces/heads (like the skulls but with skin)
-Buildings
-Interchangeable body parts
-Cars. Especially muscle cars, but I also like using taxis or other vehicles.
Thank you guys for giving us the chance to chime in on this. All your vector packs are amazing and helpful to my designs. Really bichin stuff. I am learning so much from this site.
June 6th, 2008 at 4:15 pm
That’s easy: GO Media Staff Images!
It would be sick to have a vectored image of Jeff’s mug shot…hahaha.
June 6th, 2008 at 4:15 pm
I second that Marcus
June 6th, 2008 at 4:30 pm
Looks like Marcus just gave us a glimpse of the next set of freebies to download.
I had some more ideas as everyone has been pitching in:
- seamless patterns (old-school wallpaper, vines, etc.)
- High Quality Bible characters
- I second the robots, especially vintage looking ones
- Cowboys, Army Men, Native Americans, etc.
- toys
- 70’s *0’s and 90’s graphics for building retro magazine layouts.
I also like the idea of a set of grid systems for designing layouts.
Good ideas everyone!
June 6th, 2008 at 4:33 pm
Seamless patterns, thats what I was tryin to say with the whole “repeatable backrounds” thing.
Ye robots seems cool. How about some heavily armed ones, clunky and all guns blazin’.
June 6th, 2008 at 4:56 pm
I like the robots and seamless patterns suggestions as well. Maybe some retro robots, like the big bulky kinds from the 50’s.
June 6th, 2008 at 9:12 pm
i actually have been making packs for myself for a while now, of stuff i constantly need. your packs have been a blessing though! definitely like the hand-illustrated stuff!
June 7th, 2008 at 12:20 am
skylines of international cites would be great.
June 7th, 2008 at 3:06 am
1 Word
Gangster
June 7th, 2008 at 4:55 am
more skulls. hahaha.
June 7th, 2008 at 6:43 am
Just some notes:
- moon (remember maniac mansion ?)
-jungle ( plants, animals, liana , ancient ruins…)
- ships ( carriers, old ones like the “Bismarck”, old submarines) from different views would be cool
- another nautic pattern with old style nautical chart elements, underwater structures (reef), waves, seagulls, more fishes…
- egypt, orienntal, indian stuff
- some end time scenery ( atomic blasts, dirty & derserted places, cities, streets)
- history pattern ( stoneage - cave paintings, middle ages - dark ages)
- austrialia, down under
- artic & antarctic maps ( animals, iceberg, landscapes)
i have to stop now… ideas blowing my mind.
June 7th, 2008 at 9:10 am
A lot of really good mentions already…
some ideas:
• graphitti (would work with the grunge and sprays you already put out)
• photography icons
• anything Japanese related (whether historical or modern)
• how about those maps that have those lines, not sure if they’re called contour maps, but design-wise they’re pretty cool to work with.
• Plaid design patterns (seamless of course)
But like I said, a lot of great suggesstions already. Thanks for the op!
June 7th, 2008 at 9:13 am
Giant Robots! or japanese style mecha
June 7th, 2008 at 11:03 am

ink drops / drips
Old School Monsters ( dracula wolfman etc. )
famous movie scenes ( shining where jack puts his head in the door )
vehicles / transportation
serial killers
murder scenes
June 7th, 2008 at 11:40 am
some form of graffiti would be cool. Street stuff.
June 8th, 2008 at 8:15 am
* voodoo stuff - witch doctors / dolls / black magic related items.
And I’d like to vote for the following already suggested ideas
* wild animals
* LOTS more hand drawn flowers - 3-4 more sets .. different styles
* hand drawn graffiti vines
* old school monsters , Dracula etc.
* old japan - samurai / ninja / geisha etc.
June 8th, 2008 at 10:10 am
VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!VINTAGE!!
June 8th, 2008 at 1:51 pm
Detailed flourishes similar to the ornate and currency packs. I use more of the flourishes with the negative space as opposed to the solid flourishes.
June 8th, 2008 at 5:17 pm
More tattoo based designs that are traditional!
June 8th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
How about Vespa / Lambretta / Mod scene designs? They’re coming more and more popular nowadays in clothing etc again with the whole vintage scene going on
June 8th, 2008 at 8:42 pm
Ya more urban street stuff
June 9th, 2008 at 12:46 am
I agree with a lot on here. I’d like to see vintage 80’s stuff (records, boomboxes, tagging, etc). Then there’s more of the urban scene, dj equipment, headphones, vinyl, etc. Since I’m a gamer that still has her Super Nintendo, I’d like to see game controllers, joysticks anything video game related. I’d also like to see eye candy or female figures with exaggerated features or just curves. I don’t mind doing it myself, but sometimes having something like that handy could save me time.
June 9th, 2008 at 3:56 am
I would like to see another “currency” pack. especially with guilloche patterns.
To play off of the “pinstriping idea” someone else mentioned. I would love to see a “font-based” vector pack that is designed EXACTLY like this type of urban-latino calligraphy on this website— http://www.mistercatoon.com.
With the combination of capital letters, lower-case letters, and a LOT of florish variations to add onto the “base letter”, this could very well be a special-edition stand-alone pack. It probably be easier than making a font, and I believe it would sell like crazy.
As a matter of fact, if something like that could be done/purchased by me (individually) I would love to know a price point. Please feel free to contact me through the email address provided.
June 9th, 2008 at 4:01 am
I can’t believe I misspelled the website address in my previous post (along with the other typos). The correct address is http://www.mistercartoon.com
June 9th, 2008 at 9:59 am
Oh man, been waiting for something like this. Here are a few ideas I’ve been messing around with that would make great vectors.
- Art Nouveau Pieces (woodblock-esq)
- 50’s Retro People and Objects
- Ed Hardy / Sailor Jerry Tattoo Styles
- Snakes and Reptiles / Dinosaurs
- Animal Heads / Faces (Lions, Bears, etc)
- Hands… Human or otherwise

- Traditional Japanese Print
- Gore and Rot (for the metal heads)
- Machine Parts and Wires
- Russian Constructivist Objects <3
- Water and Bubbles
- Zombies
- Flight Machines (Hotair Ballons, Zepplins, Planes, hell maybe DaVinci’s Air Screw)
I’m sure I’ll think of more. Thanks guys.

June 10th, 2008 at 10:14 am
explosions, fire, bullets shells bombs war machines?
June 10th, 2008 at 2:49 pm
i would suggest to work with some abstract 3d structures, maybe some hydraulic abstract figures, some cubic, pipes, curves, all 3d and all abstract, for us to make some pretty cool compositions. zombies is also a VERY good idea. i would suggest maybe not so much figures of things known, but shapes that suggests us thing to make, you know, to give freedom to aour imagination. exelente work with previous works, im a fan
June 10th, 2008 at 7:08 pm
Pretty much any old school 80’s stuff. Skateboards, electronics, sunglasses, people, cars, sayings, etc.

Classic Cars, 50’s 60’s The old school VW Van

Space Pack - Astronaut , planets,
Electrical Pack including Wiring of all kind .
Speaker wiring , Audio Cables, and any other type of cords.
Hope this helps a bit.
June 11th, 2008 at 2:27 pm
I second (third? tenth?) those who have suggested Japanese art elements, and I’d also love some Chinese imagery. Vintage stuff would be awesome, like 50s pinups, housewives, guys in grey flannel suits, old fashioned UFO stuff, ROBOTS! 50s scifi film robots would make me fall to the floor in a heap, that’s how much I love them.
June 11th, 2008 at 4:07 pm
It would be pretty cool to see a design timeline type of pack.
Russian Constructivism
Bauhaus
Art Nouveau
Art Deco
Streamline
WWII Propaganda
50s/60s Pinup, vintage, classic cars
70s psychedelic, hippie culture
80s punk rock themes
alternatively japanese theme elements, furniture packs, corporate junk, some seamless patterns and electronics would all be cool

June 11th, 2008 at 5:36 pm
Hi there
Great works so far. would like to have more of these:
Tattoos (oldschool)
Rock themes
General japanese themes and tattoos
For the rest, i strongly agree on WWII plane deco’s and the rest of the comments here.
Smells to a lot of work for you guys
June 12th, 2008 at 3:29 am
Hey. I love to see like some people say.
1. Japanese elements (samurai, redsun, etc)
2. the robot idea is cool too, but not old robot, robot that looks sci-fi or anime.
3. anime faces drawing by you
4. elements that help make promotions flyer for rock bands, hiphop events and music events of all.
5. shapes in 3d to put with 2d ventor
6. elements of tattoo that i can put together and make my own tattoo like a pro
7. a pack of elements in flash. For sample: if im going to make a website for a radio station and i have a top banner animated in flash and i DON’T have say a speaker animated and you have it, i buy it from you and i use is the the banner im making. This way there are one element that i don’t have to animated.
June 12th, 2008 at 3:45 am
I also love to see that people that register with GoMedia and know to make vector, can summit to you their arts and you pick the winners and make like special packs from the users that use GoMedia packs and the winners can have the pack for free or at half price or what ever you think of. Why? maybe united different styles from users around the world can make different packs and you keep the users interacting allways with the GoMedia website and allways have a cool contest runing every month or 2 or so on. Sample: GoMedia FAN Pack Vol.1
Keep the great work GoMedia.
June 12th, 2008 at 10:57 am
i would love to see some Jesus tattoolike vectors, and some tattoo inspired designs
crazy worms,swords,wings
June 12th, 2008 at 1:00 pm
Hey guys!
I could really use more floral vectors. I know it is soft and fluffy stuff, but I need some good objects for wedding albums and portrait enhancements. Pictures of children with an embellishment of skulls does not sell very well….. HA! Thanks for all the hard work! You guys ROCK!!!
June 12th, 2008 at 1:18 pm
ROBOTS, we need some Robots!
June 12th, 2008 at 2:18 pm
I find myself looking for seemless patterns everywhere, so some go-media ones would be cool…
maybe some ethnic vectors- like different countries and things to do with that country…
June 12th, 2008 at 5:40 pm
christian art would be a great jesus on the cross, walking, hands out, etc
June 12th, 2008 at 6:07 pm
i would love another linework pack, the last one was fantastic. and maybe some different animals and sports. not too much to ask really!
June 12th, 2008 at 8:31 pm
I would really like to see:
hot rod cars, 32 fords, lead sled mercury’s, hot rod trucks, rockabilly type art
old school choppers
sexy pack 2
pinstripping
extreme sports, snow, skate and motocross
tattoo art
music, rockstar poses
keep up the good work, can’t wait to see whats next!
June 13th, 2008 at 4:08 pm
In future sets, maybe include some North American Big Game (Deer, Elk, Moose, Big Horns, Mountain Goat, Bear, Bison, etc.) in action or some dynamic poses, and can always use their skulls too.
More “goth” related grunge stuff and abstract halftone patterns.
Maybe some really freaky stuff like horror and old vintage medical tools or equipment, insane asylum stuff, straight jackets… you know, like Marilyn Manson/shock rock stuff.
The kids eat this stuff up printed on shirts!
Maybe a set that has some automotive parts like older classic (Cragers, etc.) wheels/rims or
unique engine dress-up parts.
Badly needed are Sports related things like some abstract or grunge style balls and equipment.
I was in need of some Indian or prehistoric arrowheads and spear points not
too long ago and I thought that those would make a nice set to have along with other native American items and artifacts.
I actually had to find one of those museum charts to scan and create some for a
couple of projects I had to do some time ago.
More “Tatoo” style skulls and “Reapers.” Never enough SKULLS!!!!
Different styles of barbed wire (old vintage to high tech razor-barb).
Love GO-MEDIA!! Keep up the GREAT work!!!!
June 13th, 2008 at 4:23 pm
lowered cars and trucks!
more weapons!
Robots is a cool idea!
June 14th, 2008 at 2:02 am
I like pretty much all of what Dan T is saying, especially the barbed wire, insane asylum abstract halftones
June 14th, 2008 at 1:13 pm
