Site News

Over the past few months, we’ve been making time to redesign our homepage at gomedia.us. We went with a really minimal and clean approach. We put the artwork in the foreground and tried to make it as easy to access as possible. We took out a lot of the fluff and really got down to what we are all about. So check out this no-nonsense redesign of Go Media!

At first I wasn’t sure I was on the main site. I’ve got a love/hate relationship going on with the large images. While GREAT that you don’t have to worry about small and zoom images (big plus on saving space on your server), I almost enjoy the ability to pick and choose which images I want to see.

But, in the end–the in your face approach shows off your design skills and that’s more important than individual preferences in viewing. I’m still exploring the site at this point, so you’ve gotten my attention! :)

Yeah we felt that if we can eliminate clicks the better experience the user could have. True, there is less interactivity, but our goal was to give the visitor an immediate view in the first 5 seconds of visiting the site of what we can do. And scrolling is faster than clicking. :-)
