    My beef with tutorials like this is they leave out the most important part, how the hell to even design that text & think about those shapes. This tutorial might as well been “Draw awesome text on your own, and then ink it.”

    Hi Jeff,

    Really nice tut, however I think you should worn people about that 3d studio max part. I, i.e., don't have that software.

    you either have the talent or you dont – you cant teach talent, man. No reason to write 80 pages of tutorials telling you how to design your lettering – that’s up to you, or it wouldnt be your design.
