Switching to Painter X from Ray Frenden on Vimeo.
I found this video while reading my friend Ray Frenden’s blog. It’s a different take on doing digital inks. This time he’s using Painter instead of his usual Manga Studio. Notice he’s not using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator? It’s because he uses a Wacom tablet, and the pressure sensitivity is much better supported in Painter and Manga Studio. Those are more “drawing” programs than AI or PS.
Anyway, I wanted to share with you this video. I think you can expect to hear more from Ray in the future. We have him on board to write some exclusive tutorials for the Go Mediazine! Get stoked on that, I know I am.
