		<description>Nice tutorial thanks a lot!&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;For the cleaning up process, in the pathfinder options, if you check &quot;discard redundant points&quot; (my software is in french, I have no idea if that is the way it is written in the english version), whenever you use the pathfinder it will automatically remove those useless points. You have to do this before you start working. I hope that helps!</description>

That&#039;s called the overshoot. It&#039;s usually between 1-2% of the body (from descender line to ascender line). In FontLab (which uses an em/1000 units), it&#039;s usually between 10 and 15 units.</description>
