There’s no AI 8.0 in my Adobe software when I try to save it. What to do now? :( Do you have any other ways of saving it so I can open it in 3Ds Max? thanks. :)

sort of random question…what typeface is used in the banner image on top where it says “design a…”?

You'll need to edit your spline and “attach” the individual shapes that make up your letter. The “D” will need both the inside and outside shapes.
