At first I purchased the smallest Wacom Tablet that was available. It worked alright but there was a real disconnect for me. I could never get comfortable drawing on a tablet while looking at a screen. Some people do not mind this.

I then decided to buy a Tablet PC from Gateway from their C series. It comes with a Wacom enabled Pen and it works quite well. I can draw right on the screen while laying on the couch.

I like drawing and painting and this allows me to do it without frustration. It feels really natural to me. I love to scan my own drawings and paint them in photoshop. Thanks to this tutorial I realized I was missing something in my line quality. My brush strokes now have some much more character.

If you have a wacom tablet or a tablet pc you just select pen pressure in the brushes pallete. It will give you a tapered effect when you apply less pressure.

I just figured out my tablet pc needed a new driver to recognize it, so I can get those cool paint brushy lines.
